App for Australian mental health

Fortunate | Sydney, Australia

Problem

As an empathetic and holistic Digital Designer, I wanted to explore the problem of lack of services and support for male mental health in contemporary Australian, through an innovative and pedagogical designed native iOS an app called Fortunate.

Solution

The app’s goals were to learn theory along and practical knowledge in the User Experience methodology, using a UX design curriculum which spans rapid prototyping, ideation, and user testing to uncover critical customer insights. The project’s purpose was to gain professional development and to discover innovative and user-centred ways to translate my potential user wants and needs into an intuitive digital experiences, that powered user-centred design, a holistic approach and style to communicate There mental health.

Impact

The applications outcome used a pedagogical pattern and game theory to create an engaging and immersive native experience. The applications  purpose were to change the user’s behaviour through playful, engaging and interactive interactions that assisted the user in finding local professional support for there mental health needs.
