Thomson Reuters

Senior Digital Designer for Thomson Reuters e-commerce Australian website



  • Produce designs in static and prototype form for the TR website

  • Responsible for designing assets and updating Global CMS

  • Develop design solutions for front end design which included:UI and UX for product microsite

  • Responsible for the delivery of highly creative email campaigns

  • Work closely development teams to prioritise, test and implement ideas


Project 1: Thomson Reuters HTML daily e-mail

Thomson Reuters Australia consumer-focused EDM, deployed in campaign monitor.  Is a provider of tailored information solutions covering legal, tax, accounting, corporate compliance, industrial relations and HR. I was contracted to create user-friendly and visually appealing HTML E-mails to send to their user base.

High Lights

  • Create e-mails in HTML and CSS that are fully W3C compatible.

  • Create links and rollovers in CSS to Thomson Reuters brand guidelines.

  • Design Photoshop images to be included in emails for engagement.

  • Create user interface assets, such as new buttons, to give a clean and updated feel to the user.

  • Add content and check links to continue aesthetics and consistency.

  • Maintaining CMS (Teamsite) keeping style guidelines with Thomson Reuters, Global brand.

Project 2: Designing wire frames, interactions and familiarity

Core Skills

  • Full page interactive HTML wire frame for proposed layout

  • Hero banner was reduced in size to offer more page content.

  • Products were enhanced through a downloadable sample book PDF.

  • Highlight the Thomson Reuters Mission Statement.

  • Offer a drop down category menu on top to save space.


Project 3: Check Point – Micro-site
